I don't like spiders....I really don't like spiders in my home!
I intended on getting a bowl out of the cupboard and was unpleasantly shocked when I saw a HUGE spider by the plates. I was freaked and called my brother.
I didn't want to smash it because I wanted to know what it was. He told me to get bug spray and kill it that way. I am now in the process of COMPLETELY cleaning each and every dish in the whole cupboard and will sanitize the shelves too.

Wolf Spiders ...venomous - non-aggressive
| Venom toxicity - the bite of the Wolf Spider is poisonous but not lethal. Although non-aggressive, they bite freely if provoked and should be considered dangerous to humans. The bite may be very painful. First aid and medical attention should be sought as soon as possible, particularly as to children or the elderly. Spider Identification - an adult is 1/2 inch to more than 1 inch in body length - mottled gray to brown in color, with a distinct Union Jack impression on its back. The female carries it's young on its back. After posting this same information on my facebook page, several people told me that they had either had them in their home in the past or just recently killed one. I will be satisfied if I never encounter one again. |

Must be the season, I've seen several posts on facebook the last few days and we found a black widow in our garage the day we got back. Great huh. I didn't realize the wolf spiders were poisonous... Good to know!
