So, we've made good progress in the past few weeks. (We closed a week early)
If you look closely you'll see some of the new flooring in the kitchen and new laminate countertops. I'll try and get some better pictures soon.
We're still debating the yellow paint in the kitchen. It may change. :)
So far we have: removed all original flooring, repainted the entire house (colors have been a little bit tricky), removed all sinks and toilets, refinished all countertops including the bathrooms, replaced all the light fixtures (except the fan in the kitchen, because the light going there is not in stock), Matthew reinforce the garage rafters and laid plywood so we can use the attic as storage, and many other random tasks.
We hope to have the bathrooms back together and most of the flooring laid this week, so the carpet can be installed early next week and then we're moving in!!!! I'll have pictures posted in a week :)
Wow! Sounds like you've been busy...but having fun!!! We can't wait to come see it. We have been meaning to plan a Corvallis visit sometime soon, so let us know when you're movin' and we might be able to come help!
ReplyDeletep.s. I totally understand about the paint. We tried to be safe and went with pottery barn colors (They have swatches you can get that are the same as the ones used in their magazine) It was STILL tricky! So good luck.
Who is sunday 7th???? We're moving this Saturday. We have tons of help, but if you're an expert CLEANER I HATE cleaning and could use some help at the Tangent house.
